Ece Okyay is a ceramic artist and creative based in Istanbul.
Her practice is rooted in the belief that objects are not only meant to serve but also to soothe, to remind us of beauty in the everyday. After years in the corporate world, she returned to what feels essential: the rhythm of clay, the dialogue between hand and earth, the quiet joy of making.
Through her functional yet poetic ceramics, she hopes to create companions for life’s simple rituals — a cup that carries the warmth of morning light, a bowl that holds both food and silence, a vessel that honors presence itself.
Her vision is to nurture a slower, more intentional way of living. With each piece, she shares a story of patience, imperfection, and wonder — trusting that creation heals, that inspiration flows both ways, and that handmade forms can connect soul to soul.
